Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Duke Esparza kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes, Mickey Whitman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Burritos and the East Haven players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute Duke Esparza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jed Norman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Los Burritos got a freekick which was hit by Mohammed Russell. Melvin Montano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Dale Eckert made a huge save. Asher Lackey's late challenge caught a East Haven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asher Lackey helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of East Haven booed when Los Burritos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asher Lackey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmund Shea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jed Norman having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbie Vernon in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dale Eckert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robbie Vernon struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Dale Eckert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Burritos. After a rather tough play, East Haven's Fletcher Connelly got a free kick in the 26th minute. 34 minutes into the match, East Haven's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie Vernon came free, but Dale Eckert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Leon Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Burritos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Robinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dale Eckert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Vernon in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Robbie Vernon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Burritos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robbie Vernon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dale Eckert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of East Haven booed when Los Burritos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammed Russell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robbie Vernon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Octavio Varner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Duke Richey had to leave the field with a concussion. In the 63rd minute, Rob Gunter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Octavio Varner notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of East Haven's Dale Eckert. Dale Eckert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the match, East Haven's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Varner came free, but Dale Eckert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Los Burritos booed when East Haven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rob Gunter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 74th minute when Robbie Vernon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jed Norman came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by East Haven's Fletcher Connelly. But to his dismay, Fletcher Connelly quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donovan Warner during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Los Burritos got a freekick which was hit by Donovan Warner. Dale Eckert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Vernon in the 82nd minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, East Haven's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie Vernon came free, but Dale Eckert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Eckert having to interfere. After some careless play in the East Haven defense, Robbie Vernon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dale Eckert. The East Haven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dale Eckert should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melvin Montano in the 97th minute of play forced East Haven's goalkeeper Dale Eckert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robbie Vernon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Eckert having to interfere. Los Burritos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
