Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robbie Vernon kicked off to start the match. Cross City FC's Jesse Cody played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Vernon in the 8th minute of play. Jesse Cody showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Vernon, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Octavio Varner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesse Cody having to make a save. Los Burritos's Robbie Vernon saw an opening behind the goalie Jesse Cody in the 16thth minute and tried to shoot past into the top right corner, but with great reflexes Jesse Cody with one arm managed to save the shot in the last secound. Octavio Varner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Los Burritos were awarded a corner. Robbie Vernon went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Octavio Varner drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Cross City FC's goalkeeper. After 23 minutes, Bart Huerta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cross City FC and the Los Burritos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Cross City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart Huerta to maneuver through the defense. Jamel Montgomery fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 25th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbie Vernon in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesse Cody prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Vernon in the 30th minute of play forced Cross City FC's goalkeeper Jesse Cody to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jed Norman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from D.J. Veltman, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Robbie Vernon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robbie Vernon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. D.J. Veltman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jed Norman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Cross City FC's Jesse Cody got control of the ball when Melvin Montano tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for D.J. Veltman to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Los Burritos's Robbie Vernon made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesse Cody was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbie Vernon in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Jesse Cody was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robbie Vernon in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesse Cody saved Cross City FC from getting behind. 75 minutes into the game, Robbie Vernon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jesse Cody was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80thth minute of the game Robbie Vernon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cross City FC's Jesse Cody was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jesse Cody stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robbie Vernon's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Octavio Varner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marlon Bridges charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marlon Bridges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cross City FC's Marlon Bridges got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robbie Vernon in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesse Cody saved Cross City FC from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Cross City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie Vernon came free, but Jesse Cody reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesse Cody showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Vernon in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Cross City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marlon Bridges to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Burritos had played much better football throughout.
