With his leg Sol McElroy managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when CROW RAVEN's Clay Weir fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Santos Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santos Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Santos Alvarez was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Santos Alvarez hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes CROW RAVEN got a freekick which was hit by Clay Weir. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Omar Tanner managed to get in a good position for a shot. CROW RAVEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Tanner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sol McElroy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind TequilaSunrise AFC's goalkeeper Sol McElroy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Freddie Chapman managed to get in a good position for a shot. CROW RAVEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddie Chapman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sol McElroy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in TequilaSunrise AFC's zone, Dana Osborn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sol McElroy came out of the goal and Dana Osborn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Parker Arroyo in the 47th minute of play forced CROW RAVEN's goalkeeper Scot Stephenson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Fischer made a kick off. Parker Arroyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, CROW RAVEN's goalkeeper Scot Stephenson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Parker Arroyo. TequilaSunrise AFC's Parker Arroyo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Parker Arroyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Scot Stephenson. CROW RAVEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Parker Arroyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A hard shot 80 in the game by Parker Arroyo from a close distance when the talented Scot Stephenson managed to make a qualified save. CROW RAVEN's players were relieved. Clay Weir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sol McElroy having to interfere. The supporters of TequilaSunrise AFC booed when CROW RAVEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerold Trimble didn't get a good kick on the ball. The TequilaSunrise AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TequilaSunrise AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
