Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Weston Fuentes got the match started through his kick off. Archie Vance received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Emanuel Bennett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Archie Vance in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Bennett saved C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0 from getting behind. In the 27th minute Hank Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Bennett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's goalkeeper Emanuel Bennett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Long Beach Sharks FC's Mel Payne got control of the ball when Wes Jarrett tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hank Cavazos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a little luck, C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's Emanuel Bennett got control of the ball when Archie Vance tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's goalkeeper Emanuel Bennett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Archie Vance. Hank Cavazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's Emanuel Bennett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hank Cavazos in the 62nd minute of play. Archie Vance fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Bennett having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Long Beach Sharks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wes Jarrett came free, but Mel Payne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Bennett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Archie Vance in the 67th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Long Beach Sharks FC's Archie Vance made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Bennett was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caleb Lowry during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Long Beach Sharks FC's Caleb Lowry got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Wes Jarrett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Long Beach Sharks FC's Mel Payne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Weston Fuentes in the 74th minute of play forced Long Beach Sharks FC's goalkeeper Mel Payne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's Wes Jarrett got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Zane Grimes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 79 in the game by Hank Cavazos from a close distance when the talented Emanuel Bennett managed to make a qualified save. C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's players were relieved. 80 minutes into the match, Long Beach Sharks FC's Hank Cavazos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Bennett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Weston Fuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Long Beach Sharks FC's Mel Payne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weston Fuentes in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Archie Vance cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emanuel Bennett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emanuel Bennett made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Archie Vance sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Hank Cavazos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Emanuel Bennett acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luke Caldwell. In the 97th minute of the match Long Beach Sharks FC got a corner. C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luke Caldwell ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Archie Vance at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0. 0-3. The Long Beach Sharks FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Long Beach Sharks FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
