Spectators: 6812 (Terracing: 5812, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Omar Blum made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Casta Team F.C's zone, Archie Vance stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Aguilera came out of the goal and Archie Vance tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archie Vance in the 14th minute of the match. Long Beach Sharks FC's Archie Vance got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Archie Vance managed to get in a good position for a shot. Long Beach Sharks FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Archie Vance was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Aguilera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24thth minute of the game Hank Cavazos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casta Team F.C's Orlando Aguilera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Blum in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mel Payne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 29 played minutes Long Beach Sharks FC got a freekick which was hit by Kip Whitt. After a rather tough play, Casta Team F.C's DeMarcus Isaac got a free kick in the 30th minute. Hank Cavazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hank Cavazos came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Long Beach Sharks FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hank Cavazos couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute Archie Vance shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Archie Vance, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Aguilera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Archie Vance's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Orlando Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hank Cavazos in the 49th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hank Cavazos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Hank Cavazos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orlando Aguilera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Orlando Aguilera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Archie Vance in the 54th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wallace Paquette couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Caleb Lowry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Casta Team F.C's Orlando Aguilera got control of the ball when Archie Vance tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wallace Paquette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Casta Team F.C's Omar Blum in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Long Beach Sharks FC's goalie prevented a goal. Hank Cavazos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Aguilera having to interfere. When Long Beach Sharks FC's Archie Vance in 80 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Orlando Aguilera guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Hank Cavazos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Aguilera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Long Beach Sharks FC's Tracy Quinones got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Mel Payne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Blum in the 86th minute of play. Kip Whitt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Long Beach Sharks FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jay Cates was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Long Beach Sharks FC booed when Casta Team F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jay Cates didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hank Cavazos in the 91st minute of play. Orlando Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hank Cavazos, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Long Beach Sharks FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Casta Team F.C throughout the match.
