The supporters of Charles City booed when Kickin Balls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jake Downs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Jake Downs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kickin Balls's Tracy Miner got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Charles City got a freekick which was hit by Olin Zimmer. German Suarez shot from long distance in the 16th minute, but Richie Keys was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 19th minute Bailey Wooten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avery Nicholson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Charles City's zone, Cesar Key stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richie Keys came out of the goal and Cesar Key tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Harry Benton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avery Nicholson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Harry Benton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Avery Nicholson. Kickin Balls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harry Benton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 29th minute, Harry Benton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bailey Wooten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kickin Balls's goalkeeper Avery Nicholson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charles City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olin Zimmer in the 41st minute. Charles City's Olin Zimmer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Avery Nicholson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Charles City's Bailey Wooten got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bailey Wooten in the 47th minute of play forced Kickin Balls's goalkeeper Avery Nicholson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Avery Nicholson came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Charles City's Harry Benton. But to his dismay, Harry Benton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 67th minute of the match, Bailey Wooten tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Avery Nicholson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Harry Benton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes, Charles City's Anson Haas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Avery Nicholson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Charles City reached it. 0-4 became the score in the 78th minute when Bailey Wooten elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bailey Wooten kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Avery Nicholson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bailey Wooten in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Jake Downs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bailey Wooten struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Avery Nicholson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charles City. In the 96th minute, Harry Benton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Charles City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kickin Balls throughout the match.
