Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bailey Wooten kicked off to start the match. Russ Samuel struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Richie Keys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TequilaSunrise AFC. After 11 played minutes Bailey Wooten rounded TequilaSunrise AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Charles City's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Fischer came free, but Richie Keys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, one of Charles City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Charles City. In the 23rd minute, Parker Arroyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richie Keys was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Harry Benton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Sol McElroy made a huge save. Charles City's Harry Benton got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, TequilaSunrise AFC's Sol McElroy got control of the ball when Harry Benton tried to sneak it across the goal line. TequilaSunrise AFC's Sol McElroy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bailey Wooten in the 49th minute of play. In the 50th minute of the match Charles City got a corner. TequilaSunrise AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olin Zimmer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Olin Zimmer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sol McElroy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ernesto Fischer made the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Betts hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Harry Benton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charles City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Benton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to TequilaSunrise AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Russ Samuel hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Bailey Wooten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 minutes, Russ Samuel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TequilaSunrise AFC and the Charles City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Russ Samuel kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Olin Zimmer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sol McElroy. TequilaSunrise AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bailey Wooten hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes, Blake Burger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charles City and the TequilaSunrise AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Charles City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blake Burger to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Fischer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Harry Benton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Geraldo Blanchard fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TequilaSunrise AFC's protests and gave Geraldo Blanchard a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TequilaSunrise AFC! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Charles City. Olin Zimmer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sol McElroy. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in TequilaSunrise AFC's zone, Harry Benton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sol McElroy came out of the goal and Harry Benton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charles City were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing TequilaSunrise AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
