Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bailey Wooten took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rusty Hadley during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Charles City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusty Hadley to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Bailey Wooten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Avery Nicholson was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Kickin Balls's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Benton came free, but Avery Nicholson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bailey Wooten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avery Nicholson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bailey Wooten in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Charles City's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis Sherwood came free, but Richie Keys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avery Nicholson came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Charles City's Harry Benton. But to his dismay, Harry Benton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Charles City's Bailey Wooten in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kickin Balls's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Harry Benton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charles City's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Benton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Avery Nicholson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Charles City's Bailey Wooten in 29 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Avery Nicholson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When Harry Benton came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Charles City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Benton couldn't finish the play. Harry Benton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avery Nicholson having to interfere. A collision led to Kickin Balls getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Raul William hit a great ball. Avery Nicholson was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Bailey Wooten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bailey Wooten really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Richie Keys came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Kickin Balls's Lewis Sherwood. But to his dismay, Lewis Sherwood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Avery Nicholson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blake Burger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 minutes of play, Charles City's Levi Cadena made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avery Nicholson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Harry Benton made a precise shot to the right of Avery Nicholson. Kickin Balls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After 69 minutes of play, Charles City's Bailey Wooten made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avery Nicholson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, Charles City's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Key came free, but Richie Keys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Jake Downs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Olin Zimmer's long shot passed Avery Nicholson's right side. It was 7-1, 78 minutes into the match. If Bailey Wooten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Bailey Wooten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Bailey Wooten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kickin Balls's Avery Nicholson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bailey Wooten came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Charles City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bailey Wooten couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Bailey Wooten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Otto Cornelius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
