Mel Payne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Jarrett, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Dan Wilhelm sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Long Beach Sharks FC's Mel Payne didn't even have to move. In the 12th minute, Hank Cavazos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Archie Vance could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Emanuel Bennett made a huge save. When Long Beach Sharks FC's Hank Cavazos in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Emanuel Bennett managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Long Beach Sharks FC's Archie Vance fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hank Cavazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Hank Cavazos came free, but Emanuel Bennett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Hank Cavazos sped through C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emanuel Bennett. The audience was convinced that Weston Fuentes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mel Payne was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Archie Vance put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Emanuel Bennett. In the 43rd minute Hank Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Bennett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hank Cavazos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Emanuel Bennett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Archie Vance got free with Emanuel Bennett in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Weston Fuentes to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Bennett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kip Whitt went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Hank Cavazos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Bennett having to interfere. C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's Emanuel Bennett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archie Vance in the 58th minute of play. Archie Vance recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Bennett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hank Cavazos in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Wes Jarrett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archie Vance in the 80th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's goalkeeper Emanuel Bennett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Hank Cavazos came free, but Emanuel Bennett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Long Beach Sharks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Vance to maneuver through the defense. Wes Jarrett struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Mel Payne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0. Kip Whitt charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kip Whitt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kip Whitt kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's Zane Grimes got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Pipon Pipon 2.0's goalkeeper Emanuel Bennett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Long Beach Sharks FC had played much better football throughout.
