In the 13th minute Connor Coronado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Fleming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Fleming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Cramer in the 15th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leland Delgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francesco Fleming was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute Connor Coronado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Fleming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Londrina Country Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Beverly Hills were winning 0-1.

Renato Cramer's late challenge caught a Londrina Country Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renato Cramer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Beverly Hills's Renato Cramer got a free kick in the 94th minute. Beverly Hills's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
