An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathon Moody in the 21st minute of play forced Wayland's goalkeeper Joseph Cronin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Sudaca 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Darden to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brent Clement was the one to do the kick off. Lawrence Wallace's late challenge caught a Sudaca 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lawrence Wallace helped the player get up and apologised. Brent Clement received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Brent Clement who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sudaca 04's Shayne Gee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Brent Clement managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wayland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent Clement was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Wayland's goal looked a bit too open when Rico Grace came free, but Joseph Cronin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
