Brent Clement took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clinton Barry. Clinton Barry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Brent Clement's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clinton Barry read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Marcos Goldstein charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Goldstein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Wayland got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Goldstein. Connor Coronado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Connor Coronado came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Beverly Hills fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Connor Coronado couldn't finish the play. Roderick Mott kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Clinton Barry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hunter Graves in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Joseph Cronin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Leland Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Wayland's goal looked a bit too open when Leland Delgado came free, but Joseph Cronin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clinton Barry made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Hunter Graves sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Cramer during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Beverly Hills getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Renato Cramer hit a great ball. Clinton Barry made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Hunter Graves sent off a good shot on target.
