Johnnie Wilkinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Landon Jacobs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johnnie Wilkinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Cronin having to interfere. When Hunter Graves came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Wayland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hunter Graves couldn't finish the play. If Brent Clement had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Johnnie Wilkinson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Mora FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnnie Wilkinson couldn't finish the play. Joseph Cronin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Landon Jacobs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hunter Graves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Loren Varner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loren Varner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Clement in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Landon Jacobs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joseph Cronin, 0-2. A collision led to Wayland getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Noah Minor hit a great ball. The long shot by Fernando Scruggs in the 79th minute really tested Joseph Cronin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Johnnie Wilkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Landon Jacobs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Cronin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Wayland booed when Mora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter George didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mora FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
