Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Darius Gabriel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Woodlands FC defense, Hunter Graves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Lacy. The Woodlands FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Lacy should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darius Gabriel in the 9th minute of play forced Wayland's goalkeeper Joseph Cronin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, Wayland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noah Minor to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Woodlands FC's Darius Gabriel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joseph Cronin. Joseph Cronin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. A collision led to Wayland getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Lawrence Wallace hit a great ball. Terry Jacobsen scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joseph Cronin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Terry Jacobsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joseph Cronin. Wayland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Terry Jacobsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to Wayland getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Lawrence Wallace hit a great ball. Woodlands FC's Darius Gabriel got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darius Gabriel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joseph Cronin having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brent Clement to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Woodlands FC booed when Wayland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noah Minor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Patrick Lay fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woodlands FC's protests and gave Patrick Lay a yellow card for diving instead. Patrick Lay hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Wayland's Darell Landers tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noah Minor during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Wayland got a freekick which was hit by Noah Minor. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Darius Gabriel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woodlands FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darius Gabriel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Cronin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joseph Cronin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Jacobsen in the 66th minute of play. If Terry Jacobsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terry Jacobsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terry Jacobsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joseph Cronin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Terry Jacobsen ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Woodlands FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Napoleon Bauman hit a great ball. Lawrence Wallace kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Wayland's Joseph Cronin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Gabriel in the 85th minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Darius Gabriel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wayland's Joseph Cronin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Lawrence Wallace was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. In the 93rd minute, Lawrence Wallace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Wayland's goal looked a bit too open when Darius Gabriel came free, but Joseph Cronin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Woodlands FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
