Sebastian Kajdasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Jacobsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Rueben Olson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oscar Lacy. The goal made the score 1-0. 48 minutes into the game, Napoleon Bauman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Woodlands FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Watsontown the free kick. After 48 played minutes Woodlands FC got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Bauman. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Terry Jacobsen struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Sebastian Kajdasz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woodlands FC. Sebastian Kajdasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darius Gabriel in the 55th minute of the match. Adolfo Todd hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Watsontown's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Darius Gabriel scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Kajdasz, making the score, 1-1. Stevie Clarke was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Watsontown fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Watsontown's Sebastian Kajdasz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 101st minute of the match, managed to save Watsontown from getting a goal against them. Woodlands FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Watsontown to leave the ground with a draw.
