Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5765, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Willis McCord took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Springfield FC booed when Watsontown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Todd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Springfield FC's Theron Torrez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sebastian Kajdasz but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Springfield FC's zone, Rueben Olson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Houston Bowles came out of the goal and Rueben Olson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Houston Bowles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rueben Olson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Dexter Jernigan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Springfield FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Watsontown the free kick. Dexter Jernigan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Raul Beal lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Sebastian Kajdasz made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ned Lemons sent off a good shot on target. After 39 played minutes Watsontown got a freekick which was hit by Allen Spaulding. A hard shot by Theron Torrez from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Sebastian Kajdasz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ned Lemons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sebastian Kajdasz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Junior McIntosh hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Theron Torrez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Kajdasz. Watsontown's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Timmy Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Junior McIntosh during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Watsontown got a freekick which was hit by Junior McIntosh. Ned Lemons blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Kajdasz having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Adolfo Todd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Watsontown's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Todd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Houston Bowles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio McFadden kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Houston Bowles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allen Spaulding, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Houston Bowles came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Watsontown's Ernie Moreno. But to his dismay, Ernie Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Ernie Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Watsontown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernie Moreno couldn't finish the play. Willis McCord succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 86th minute, Timmy Holt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Springfield FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Willis McCord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Adolfo Todd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Watsontown's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Todd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Houston Bowles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the game, Willis McCord cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Houston Bowles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Springfield FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Watsontown were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
