Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Brent Clement started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brent Clement in the 4th minute of play forced Watsontown's goalkeeper Sebastian Kajdasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joseph Cronin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allen Spaulding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Watsontown's goal looked a bit too open when Brent Clement came free, but Sebastian Kajdasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Lange during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastian Lange hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Junior McIntosh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rueben Olson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joseph Cronin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Watsontown booed when Wayland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence Wallace didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Watsontown's Allen Spaulding fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Watsontown's Sebastian Kajdasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Clement in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ernie Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Brent Clement cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sebastian Kajdasz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Watsontown's Allen Spaulding got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 43rd minute of the match Sebastian Lange completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sebastian Lange a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Sebastian Lange hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Sebastian Kajdasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hunter Graves in the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Allen Spaulding managed to get in a good position for a shot. Watsontown's supporters rose to their feet, but Allen Spaulding was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Cronin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Watsontown players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wayland were winning 0-1.

Joseph Cronin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior McIntosh's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Junior McIntosh in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Cronin saved Wayland from getting behind. After some careless play in the Wayland defense, Allen Spaulding kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joseph Cronin. The Wayland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joseph Cronin should have stopped the shot. Wayland's Joseph Cronin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allen Spaulding in the 61st minute of play. Ernie Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Cronin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allen Spaulding in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allen Spaulding in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Cronin saved Wayland from getting behind. Ernie Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Cronin having to interfere. Watsontown's Ernie Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wayland's Joseph Cronin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Moreno in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Wayland booed when Watsontown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stevie Ramey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Watsontown's zone, Darell Landers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Kajdasz came out of the goal and Darell Landers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Watsontown's Sebastian Kajdasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Clement in the 79th minute of play. When Watsontown's Allen Spaulding in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wayland's goalie prevented a goal. Joseph Cronin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allen Spaulding in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Wayland's goal looked a bit too open when Junior McIntosh came free, but Joseph Cronin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Cronin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allen Spaulding in the 92nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allen Spaulding in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Cronin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Watsontown's goalkeeper Sebastian Kajdasz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brent Clement. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Watsontown players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
