With a left leg Raul Quintero saved Manchester FC from getting behind. Perry Browning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Manchester FC's Stacy Hudson got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Lech Poznań's Kurt Crusher made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Quintero was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 minutes, Jared Sykes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester FC and the Lech Poznań players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abraham Hills during the 29th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Rod Bravo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rod Bravo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stacy Hudson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Andre Wilcox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Abraham Hills left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. There was no doubt that Manchester FC were the better team. Manchester FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
