The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruce Craft got free with Scott Gallo in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Freddie Plummer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Dent having to interfere. If Jessie McManus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jessie McManus in the 11th minute of play forced Skyhawk FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Dent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fishers's Scott Gallo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Fishers from getting a goal against them. Bruce Craft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Dent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Plummer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match Mohammed Annan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Dent showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Skyhawk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Plummer came free, but Aurelio Dent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Leif Clifford kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Scott Gallo. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. When Sebastian Browning fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skyhawk FC's protests and gave Sebastian Browning a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Skyhawk FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sebastian Browning hit a great ball. After 48 minutes Skyhawk FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marvin Sheldon who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Marvin Sheldon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Skyhawk FC's Aurelio Dent did a great save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A hard shot 58 in the game by Freddie Plummer from a close distance when the talented Aurelio Dent managed to make a qualified save. Skyhawk FC's players were relieved. Scott Gallo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leif Clifford's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Clay Herget hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Leif Clifford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Fishers defense, Leif Clifford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Scott Gallo. The Fishers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Scott Gallo should have stopped the shot. Freddie Plummer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Aurelio Dent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruce Craft in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Scott Gallo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freddie Plummer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Aurelio Dent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jessie McManus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jessie McManus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Skyhawk FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fishers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
