Spectators: 6768 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) Leif Clifford might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doug Pineda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leif Clifford ran back to his position shaking his head. DeAndre Middleton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Dent having to interfere. Prospect FC's Sammy Robertson got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Skyhawk FC's Aurelio Dent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Skyhawk FC from getting a goal against them. Sammy Robertson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Prospect FC's Sammy Robertson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aurelio Dent. Aurelio Dent yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 21st minute, Leif Clifford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doug Pineda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Craft in the 22nd minute of play. Skyhawk FC's Bruce Craft got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Prospect FC's goalkeeper Doug Pineda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 31 played minutes, Prospect FC's Reggie Underwood shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelio Dent came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Prospect FC reached it. Sammy Robertson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Dent having to make a save. Sammy Robertson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Leif Clifford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Skyhawk FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aurelio Byrne hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sammy Robertson to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Dent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Robertson in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Prospect FC's Doug Pineda got control of the ball when Bruce Craft tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferdinand Hyde hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Sammy Robertson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Dent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Prospect FC's Sammy Robertson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Dent was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Sammy Robertson came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Prospect FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sammy Robertson couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes in the game, Leif Clifford fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Doug Pineda having to interfere. Bruce Craft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Doug Pineda made a huge save. With 78 minutes on the clock, Del Sneed commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 77th minute, one of Prospect FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Prospect FC. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Skyhawk FC. Aurelio Byrne stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Doug Pineda. 2-1. Bruce Craft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Doug Pineda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doug Pineda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Clifford, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Bruce Craft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospect FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
