Zachary Field showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Clifford, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Monster Kings's Zachary Field played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Clifford in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Monster Kings's zone, Leif Clifford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachary Field came out of the goal and Leif Clifford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Monster Kings getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tory Miranda hit a great ball. When Skyhawk FC's Leif Clifford in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monster Kings's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Tory Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Graig Ragsdale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Dent showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th match minute, Skyhawk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Browning to maneuver through the defense. If Paul Scales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Skyhawk FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Browning. 41 minutes into the match, Skyhawk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Scales came free, but Aurelio Dent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Paul Scales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aurelio Dent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zachary Field made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruce Craft in the 45th minute. After the first half Monster Kings were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zachary Field showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Clifford in the 53rd minute of the match. Wilford Leach's late challenge caught a Skyhawk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilford Leach helped the player get up and apologised. 58 minutes into the game, Marcus Hilliard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skyhawk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monster Kings the free kick. In the 58th minute, Marcus Hilliard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wilbur Countess came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Monster Kings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilbur Countess couldn't finish the play. Wilbur Countess blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Dent having to make a save. Paul Scales came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aurelio Dent could save by the left post. Paul Scaless short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Aurelio Dent to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paul Scales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Dent having to interfere. Monster Kings's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
