FC Hatboro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Creativity's Harry Worley suffered a sore thigh after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Houston Ibarra's late challenge caught a Creativity's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Houston Ibarra helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes FC Hatboro got a freekick which was hit by Houston Ibarra. The audience was convinced that Timothy Bonds's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarod Vick was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Creativity's Rhett Pope got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, FC Hatboro's goal looked a bit too open when Timothy Bonds came free, but Jarod Vick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Creativity's goalkeeper Joseph Osborne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claude Swift. If Abraham Andrews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hatboro's zone, Eduardo Greer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarod Vick came out of the goal and Eduardo Greer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Rhett Pope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creativity's supporters rose to their feet, but Rhett Pope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarod Vick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claude Swift got free with Joseph Osborne in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timothy Bonds was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Creativity's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Andrews came free, but Joseph Osborne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, FC Hatboro's Abraham Andrews sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joseph Osborne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timothy Bonds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. FC Hatboro's Jarod Vick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Hatboro from getting a goal against them. The Creativity supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Creativity would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
