Jarod Vick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jospeh Kay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, FC Hatboro's goal looked a bit too open when Jospeh Kay came free, but Jarod Vick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, FC Hatboro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristofer Herrera to maneuver through the defense. Jarod Vick made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ronnie Wilkinson sent off a good shot on target. Ronnie Wilkinson struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jarod Vick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fire FC. 39 minutes into the match, FC Hatboro's goal looked a bit too open when Jospeh Kay came free, but Jarod Vick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Claude Swift shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Coley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Hatboro booed when Fire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daren Bradley didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Claude Swift had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Andrews recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Theron McNeill charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theron McNeill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claude Swift in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silas Coley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Abraham Andrews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Coley having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Andrews in the 78th minute of play forced Fire FC's goalkeeper Silas Coley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarod Vick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jospeh Kay's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, FC Hatboro's goal looked a bit too open when Ronnie Wilkinson came free, but Jarod Vick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Ronnie Wilkinson made a precise shot to the right of Jarod Vick. FC Hatboro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jospeh Kay in the 91st minute of play forced FC Hatboro's goalkeeper Jarod Vick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hatboro's zone, Ronnie Wilkinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarod Vick came out of the goal and Ronnie Wilkinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
