Creativity's Eduardo Greer suffered a concussion in the 5th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 5 minutes, Derek Compton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woodcliff Lake FC and the Creativity players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute of the match Lincoln Brock sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Sharp skillfully saved the ball. Timothy Bonds recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteban McKinley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Sharp having to interfere. If Timothy Bonds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Sharp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rhett Pope went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the match, Timothy Bonds had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Sharp. Woodcliff Lake FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timothy Bonds was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Creativity's zone, Wilton Ware stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Osborne came out of the goal and Wilton Ware tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joseph Osborne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Ware in the 58th minute of play. Joseph Osborne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Ware in the 63rd minute of the match. Harry Worley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Sharp having to interfere. Benjamin Stanford scored 1-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joseph Osborne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rhett Pope might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Sharp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rhett Pope ran back to his position shaking his head. If Wilton Ware had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
