Joseph Osborne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Bonds, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Rolf Bonds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Joseph Osborne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Timothy Bonds made a precise shot to the right of Lonnie Medina. Sauk Rapids AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 25th minute Creativity were awarded a corner. Lincoln Brock went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 27 minutes, Timothy Bonds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Creativity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timothy Bonds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Greer hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Eduardo Greer fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Bonds in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Osborne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Eduardo Greer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lonnie Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geoffrey Thacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joseph Osborne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Greer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Creativity got a freekick which was hit by Harry Worley. In the 54th minute Sauk Rapids AFC were awarded a corner. Preston Mejia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sauk Rapids AFC's Preston Mejia to fire away a dangerous shot which Joseph Osborne despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rolf Bonds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Osborne having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Rolf Bonds got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geoffrey Thacker got free with Joseph Osborne in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Eduardo Greer sped through Sauk Rapids AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lonnie Medina. Geoffrey Thacker came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joseph Osborne could save by the left post. Creativity were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sauk Rapids AFC for a fine match.
