Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Reginald Tackett started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Woodcliff Lake FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Hill came free, but Alfredo Sharp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reginald Tackett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Atletico Nacional. Pat Candido stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alfredo Sharp. 0-1. If Wilton Ware had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton Ware received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jacques Wagner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Freddy Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Hill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Woodcliff Lake FC's Alfredo Sharp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginald Tackett in the 36th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Wilford Redd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Nacional and the Woodcliff Lake FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Stanford to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Sharp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Hill in the 55th minute. Jacques Wagner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Ware in the 61st minute of play. After some careless play in the Atletico Nacional defense, Wilton Ware kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacques Wagner. The Atletico Nacional fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacques Wagner should have stopped the shot. Freddy Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Sharp having to interfere. Alfredo Sharp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginald Tackett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Hill who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Alfredo Sharp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico Nacional fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Woodcliff Lake FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atletico Nacional had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
