Central Malaver's Marlon McIntosh couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for RAYO FC. Craig Goodson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Shaun Weston made a huge save. RAYO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Clearwater was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alistair Rasmussen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, RAYO FC's goalkeeper Shaun Weston had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Craig Goodson. RAYO FC's Jonathan Pittman got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, RAYO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Guillory came free, but Shaun Weston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Guillory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Weston having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, RAYO FC's Jonathan Pittman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alistair Rasmussen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Guillory to make the kick off. Jonathan Pittman might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alistair Rasmussen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Pittman ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Pittman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alistair Rasmussen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Bond in the 61st minute of play forced RAYO FC's goalkeeper Shaun Weston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alistair Rasmussen was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Jonathan Pittman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonathan Pittman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. RAYO FC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Central Malaver's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tyron Cardenas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tyron Cardenas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alistair Rasmussen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Pittman's late challenge caught a Central Malaver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Pittman helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig Goodson in the 77th minute of play forced RAYO FC's goalkeeper Shaun Weston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Pittman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alistair Rasmussen was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 79th minute Jonathan Pittman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alistair Rasmussen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Pittman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jonathan Pittman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Alistair Rasmussen 85 minutes into the match. RAYO FC's Marco Clearwater got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Pittman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marlin Helms in the 94th minute of play forced Central Malaver's goalkeeper Alistair Rasmussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Pittman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alistair Rasmussen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The Central Malaver supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RAYO FC's performance. The match ended with a win for RAYO FC.
