Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rolf Bonds kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Thacker in the 4th minute of play forced Woodcliff Lake FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Sharp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Woodcliff Lake FC's Alfredo Sharp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoffrey Thacker in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Lucien Odom sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lonnie Medina skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Rolf Bonds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sauk Rapids AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolf Bonds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taylor Kimball during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Taylor Kimball kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Rolf Bonds struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alfredo Sharp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauk Rapids AFC. If Wilton Ware had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 29th play minutes Benjamin Stanford shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Lonnie Medina and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 32nd minute Rolf Bonds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Sharp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rolf Bonds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geoffrey Thacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alfredo Sharp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wilton Ware had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Herrera charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Herrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joel Herrera hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Wilton Ware sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geoffrey Thacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Giovanni Hooks from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Lonnie Medina's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Benjamin Stanford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lonnie Medina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Stanford's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Woodcliff Lake FC's Gerald Sargent got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute, Jarrett Negron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Benjamin Stanford came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Woodcliff Lake FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Stanford couldn't finish the play. Wilton Ware took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lonnie Medina. Lonnie Medina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Geoffrey Thacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Bonds in the 78th minute of play forced Woodcliff Lake FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Sharp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lonnie Medina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilton Ware's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Sauk Rapids AFC's Geoffrey Thacker got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolf Bonds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Sharp having to interfere. Alfredo Sharp made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Geoffrey Thacker sent off a good shot on target. Sauk Rapids AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Woodcliff Lake FC had won, even though Sauk Rapids AFC had held more of the ball.
