Spectators: 7724 (Terracing: 5794, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Fire FC's Jospeh Kay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Alejandro Fuentes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silas Coley, passed just outside the right post. In the 5th minute, Wally Coats got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Tad Logan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fire FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FLORIDA FC the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Fire FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tad Logan to maneuver through the defense. Silas Coley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wally Coats in the 11th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match Theron McNeill shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Von Jewell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Aldo Mendez fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FLORIDA FC's protests and gave Aldo Mendez a yellow card for diving instead. Florian Kerns hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Theron McNeill was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Ronnie Wilkinson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Florian Kerns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jospeh Kay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Von Jewell having to interfere. Von Jewell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jospeh Kay in the 46th minute of the match. When Anson Vickers fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fire FC's protests and gave Anson Vickers a yellow card for diving instead. Anson Vickers kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Austin Benson missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 49 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Silas Coley right hand side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Wally Coats made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Fire FC's zone, Wally Coats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silas Coley came out of the goal and Wally Coats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc Sams charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Sams the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marc Sams hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Renato Sears recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ronnie Wilkinson came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Fire FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronnie Wilkinson couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Fuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Silas Coley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fire FC's Jospeh Kay in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FLORIDA FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Florian Kerns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FLORIDA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Kerns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Fire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wally Coats came free, but Silas Coley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FLORIDA FC's Alejandro Fuentes got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Theron McNeill took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Von Jewell. FLORIDA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Silas Coley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Fuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
