The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of South Holland booed when Blue Crystal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clayton Jimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Crystal's zone, Brent Shields stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Kerr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent Shields in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, one of Blue Crystal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Parker Emery placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 19 minutes into the match, Blue Crystal's goal looked a bit too open when Brent Shields came free, but Raphael Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Blue Crystal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Croft to maneuver through the defense. If Brent Shields had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
