When Junior Stallings fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Znojmo City's protests and gave Junior Stallings a yellow card for diving instead. Junior Stallings kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see South Holland's Bradly Hillman in action when he in the 16th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After having played for 18 minutes, Brent Shields managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Holland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent Shields was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brent Shields sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Huntley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Randy Trent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Huntley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Daniel Huntley sped through South Holland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Randy Trent. Daniel Huntley struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Randy Trent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Znojmo City. The audience was convinced that Daniel Huntley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Randy Trent was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Daniel Huntley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Randy Trent having to make a save. 44 minutes into the game, Brady Barnett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. South Holland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Znojmo City the free kick. In the 47th minute, South Holland's Emmanuel Kilgore dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emmanuel Kilgore to make the kick off. South Holland's Emmanuel Kilgore got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Znojmo City booed when South Holland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Pollock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Huntley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Randy Trent when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in South Holland's zone, Dalton Benton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Randy Trent came out of the goal and Dalton Benton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Huntleys short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Randy Trent to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 70 played minutes Znojmo City got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Huntley. Daniel Huntley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalton Becerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Randy Trent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in South Holland's zone, Dalton Benton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Randy Trent came out of the goal and Dalton Benton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Daniel Huntley fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Randy Trent, passed just outside the right post. When Dalton Becerra came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Znojmo City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalton Becerra couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes Znojmo City got a freekick which was hit by Junior Stallings. Brent Shields fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errol Jeffers having to interfere. The supporters of South Holland booed when Znojmo City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalton Becerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parker Emery took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Errol Jeffers. Znojmo City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Znojmo City were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
