Spectators: 7597 (Terracing: 5815, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juan Cates got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Hank Keith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Criston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Frankie Marino in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Centurions FC's Sid Lester. Sid Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Henry Gunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Big FC's zone, Juan Cates stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Gunn came out of the goal and Juan Cates tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Cates recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Centurions FC's Lázaro Criston proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Centurions FC from getting a goal against them. Juan Cates recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Juan Cates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Centurions FC booed when Big FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaun Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Centurions FC's Juan Cates in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Big FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lázaro Criston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hank Keith in the 36th minute of play. Henry Gunn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Cates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Cates took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Gunn. Henry Gunn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hank Keith made the kick off in the second half. If Hank Keith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Cates got free with Henry Gunn in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kurt Sawyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Henry Gunn made a huge save. Juan Cates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Gunn made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Juan Cates sent off a good shot on target. Sid Lester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bryan Trimble hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Lázaro Criston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shaun Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Cates in the 77th minute of play forced Big FC's goalkeeper Henry Gunn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Big FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Sawyer came free, but Henry Gunn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Centurions FC's Juan Cates got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 minutes of play, Centurions FC's Juan Cates made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Gunn was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Juan Cates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Sid Lester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centurions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sid Lester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Juan Cates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
