Lázaro Criston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Lund in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Centurions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristopher Hobbs came free, but Lázaro Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Centurions FC's Lázaro Criston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristopher Hobbs in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Centurions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Lund came free, but Lázaro Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Will Sharpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Lund in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázaro Criston saved Centurions FC from getting behind. Juan Cates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Cates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Damian Whaley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Sawyer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Whaley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Centurions FC's Juan Cates got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 minutes, Owen Vilter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burninators and the Centurions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 48 minutes into the game, Kurt Sawyer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Damian Whaley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ted Lund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Juan Cates managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centurions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Cates was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Wilbur Glass hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Juan Cates sped through Burninators's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Whaley. If Juan Cates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sid Lester's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Whaley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Ted Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Criston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70thth minute of the game Kurt Sawyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burninators's Damian Whaley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Juan Cates notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Burninators's Damian Whaley. Damian Whaley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the game, Centurions FC's Sid Lester nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Whaley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 81 minutes into the match, Burninators's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Sawyer came free, but Damian Whaley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Whaley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Sawyer in the 84th minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Burninators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Owen Vilter to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute of the match, Ted Lund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lázaro Criston saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Damian Whaley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Sawyer's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Juan Cates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Damian Whaley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Juan Cates came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Centurions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Cates couldn't finish the play. Centurions FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
