Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lanny Ruiz kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Lemont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raymundo Bonilla came free, but Sonny Mayfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 minutes, Raymundo Bonilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal Imitation F.C. and the Lemont FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raymundo Bonilla kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Nick Woodall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sonny Mayfield having to make a save. If Raymundo Bonilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Arsenal Imitation F.C.'s Devin Davila got a free kick in the 11th minute. Arsenal Imitation F.C.'s Curtis Alexander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal Imitation F.C. from getting a goal against them. Bryant Stringer hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Brent Krueger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sonny Mayfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymundo Bonilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Derrick Marshall fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lemont FC's protests and gave Derrick Marshall a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Lemont FC got a freekick which was hit by Derrick Marshall. Raymundo Bonilla struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sonny Mayfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal Imitation F.C.. 38 minutes into the match, Lemont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Woodall came free, but Sonny Mayfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brent Krueger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Arsenal Imitation F.C.'s Mario Moyer got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Curtis Alexander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lanny Ruiz in the 45th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 49 minutes, Nick Woodall put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sonny Mayfield. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Lemont FC booed when Arsenal Imitation F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devin Davila didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Lanny Ruiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Curtis Alexander. Arsenal Imitation F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lanny Ruiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lemont FC's goalkeeper Sonny Mayfield, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nick Woodall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymundo Bonilla in the 66th minute of play forced Lemont FC's goalkeeper Sonny Mayfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curtis Alexander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent Krueger, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Raymundo Bonilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Arsenal Imitation F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jake Patel to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Derrick Marshall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lemont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Derrick Marshall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Curtis Alexander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Lemont FC defense, Nick Woodall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sonny Mayfield. The Lemont FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Mayfield should have stopped the shot. 98 minutes into the match, Arsenal Imitation F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Brent Krueger came free, but Curtis Alexander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Devin Davila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Sonny Mayfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
