Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tom Tobin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mohammad Montoya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Tobin's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Mohammad Montoya came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Buna's Rene Riddle. But to his dismay, Rene Riddle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mohammad Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Magee in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Bo Pritchard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Scotty Rasmussen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 17th minute, Jefferson Jones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Buna's Rene Riddle in action when he in the 19th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Luis De La Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jay Kirkpatrick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Scotty Rasmussen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Tybee FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristopher Layton came free, but Mohammad Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scotty Rasmussen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Pritchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Wally Wilkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wally Wilkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Scotty Rasmussen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Kraft in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stephan Kraft stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Fletcher Finney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buna and the Tybee FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tybee FC booed when Buna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fletcher Finney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohammad Montoya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tom Tobin went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Fletcher Finney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buna's Rene Riddle got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Tobin in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohammad Montoya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stephan Kraft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scotty Rasmussen having to interfere. Tybee FC's Stephan Kraft got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohammad Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Riddle in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Bryan Magee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Riddle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Mohammad Montoya when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bryan Magee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tybee FC's Mohammad Montoya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Tybee FC from getting a goal against them. Kristopher Layton's late challenge caught a Tybee FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristopher Layton helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Buna got a freekick which was hit by Garry Whitfield. After a rather tough play, Buna's Bryan Magee got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Tybee FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Buna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
