The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Lisbon's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Ruiz came free, but Will Bergstrom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Forrest Cline got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Lemont FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Mayfield should have stopped the shot. Forrest Cline might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sonny Mayfield. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Forrest Cline ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute, Brent Krueger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
