After 4 minutes, Nolan Burkett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Petworth Futsal Club and the New Stanton AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Petworth Futsal Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nolan Burkett to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes, New Stanton AFC's Johnathan Goldberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jefferson Yang came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in New Stanton AFC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdul Figueroa in the 6th minute of play forced Petworth Futsal Club's goalkeeper Jefferson Yang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson Yang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brady Harman in the 9th minute of the match. Nolan Burkett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. New Stanton AFC's David Sylvester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save New Stanton AFC from getting a goal against them. When Petworth Futsal Club's Maxwell Jamison in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New Stanton AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the game, Antoine Langley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. David Sylvester was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the game, Petworth Futsal Club's Antoine Langley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Sylvester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Antoine Langley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Deon Landers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Stanton AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petworth Futsal Club the free kick. Deon Landers kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With his leg David Sylvester managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Petworth Futsal Club's Antoine Langley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxwell Jamison in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Sylvester prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antoine Langley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. New Stanton AFC's Abdul Figueroa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Brady Harman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Yang. Petworth Futsal Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brady Harman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

David Sylvester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Langley, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Maxwell Jamison got in the 61st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but David Sylvester handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Petworth Futsal Club's Maxwell Jamison got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Sylvester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxwell Jamison in the 68th minute of play. Brady Harman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdul Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Maxwell Jamison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Sylvester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Herbert's late challenge caught a Petworth Futsal Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Herbert helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to New Stanton AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Mark Herbert hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Harry Hunt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and New Stanton AFC's David Sylvester didn't even have to move. Antoine Langley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
