Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tommie Dillard made the kick off and thus started the match. Jermaine Ludwig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brady Harman in the 3rd minute of the match. When Abdul Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the New Stanton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdul Figueroa couldn't finish the play. Brady Harman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Del Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Abdul Figueroa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jermaine Ludwig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommie Dillard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Sylvester having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Charlton Weiss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Stanton AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Midway the free kick. After a rather tough play, New Stanton AFC's Charlton Weiss got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22nd match minute, FC Midway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Donovan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of New Stanton AFC booed when FC Midway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Del Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Midway's Jermaine Ludwig got control of the ball when Abdul Figueroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Hank Swain managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Midway's supporters rose to their feet, but Hank Swain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Sylvester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Abdul Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Brady Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Abdul Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Stanton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdul Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. FC Midway's Jermaine Ludwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brady Harman in the 38th minute of play. Abdul Figueroa struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jermaine Ludwig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Stanton AFC. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Midway's goalkeeper Jermaine Ludwig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommie Dillard hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brady Harman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Brady Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tommie Dillard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Charlton Weiss was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. After 63 played minutes New Stanton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Charlton Weiss. 71 minutes into the match, FC Midway's Tommie Dillard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Sylvester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mark Herbert kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, FC Midway's Hank Swain dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hank Swain got free with David Sylvester in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC Midway booed when New Stanton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilbert Sullivan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the New Stanton AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
