They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Forrest Cline stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jefferson Yang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalton Hunter, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dalton Hunter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoine Langley got free with Will Bergstrom in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Dalton Hunter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisbon's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalton Hunter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Yang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maxwell Jamison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Bergstrom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxwell Jamison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Petworth Futsal Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Petworth Futsal Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
