Spectators: 5060 (Terracing: 4020, Seating: 1020, VIP seats: 20) Buna's Scotty Rasmussen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocky Lozano in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Bailey in the 21st minute of play forced Buna's goalkeeper Scotty Rasmussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kraig Odom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Riddle in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Dubois during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Buna defense, Tuan Matson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Scotty Rasmussen. The Buna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Scotty Rasmussen should have stopped the shot. Bryan Magee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Buna booed when Jayhawk AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Lowry didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Tom Tobin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Tobin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Bryan Magee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Jayhawk AFC booed when Buna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fletcher Finney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jayhawk AFC's Kraig Odom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wally Wilkins in the 84th minute of play. Bryan Magee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kraig Odom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Magee in the 90th minute of play. Scotty Rasmussen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tuan Matson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 91 minute of play. Jayhawk AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Buna's much stronger midfield.
