Dallas Stars's Lewis Brooks got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stevie Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Stapleton having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Lewis Brooks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dallas Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lewis Brooks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stevie Hernandez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 13th playminute. A collision led to Dallas Stars getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ty Burkett hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match Ollie Goode sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafal Bazan skillfully saved the ball. Elliott Stapleton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lewis Brooks went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ollie Goode received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rafal Bazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Dallas Stars getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Seth Cadena hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lewis Brooks to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Stevie Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Stapleton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vern DeJesus kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ollie Goode fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafal Bazan having to interfere. Otto Glover blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elliott Stapleton having to make a save. In the 74th minute, Arthur Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ollie Goode sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafal Bazan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernie Saucedo in the 78th minute. Elliott Stapleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lewis Brooks, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 84th match minute, Glen Ellyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoff Nicholas to maneuver through the defense. Dallas Stars's Lewis Brooks got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Dallas Stars's Lewis Brooks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elliott Stapleton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Dallas Stars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
