Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5789, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Darryl Ellison kicked off to start the match. Monte Healy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Gray having to interfere. Theo Flint might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricky Gray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theo Flint ran back to his position shaking his head. Rudolf Sutherland's late challenge caught a Romanguaça FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudolf Sutherland helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Ahamdullilah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Sutherland to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match, Steve Ragsdale sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Ricky Gray showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Romanguaça FC got a freekick which was hit by Theo Flint. The throw-in from Wallace Boles in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Romanguaça FC's Steve Ragsdale. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monte Healy in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricky Gray saved Ahamdullilah from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Monte Healy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Richie Timmons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Ellison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Theo Flint kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricky Gray. That made the score 1-1 in the 55 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monte Healy in the 64th minute of play forced Ahamdullilah's goalkeeper Ricky Gray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Romanguaça FC defense, Emery Brandt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richie Timmons. The Romanguaça FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richie Timmons should have stopped the shot. Ricky Gray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monte Healy in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute, Joe Guinn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romanguaça FC's Richie Timmons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Ellison in the 77th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steve Ragsdale during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Steve Ragsdale kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Richie Timmons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Ellison, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Monte Healy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theo Flint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Gray having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ahamdullilah could leave the field as winners, despite Romanguaça FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
