In the 39th minute Ollie Goode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Trimble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Nakedanglos United's Cody Trimble got control of the ball when Bernie Saucedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darin Vernon to make the kick off. Bernie Saucedo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Cody Trimble didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glen Ellyn. Cody Trimble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ollie Goode in the 55th minute of play. Ollie Goode scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cody Trimble, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute Ollie Goode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Trimble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vern DeJesus during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Glen Ellyn's Bernie Saucedo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cody Trimble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernie Saucedo in the 93rd minute of play.
