Rory Carrington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josh Morrison having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiberto Juarez to make the kick off. Josh Morrison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rory Carrington, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Blake Buck kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. SL FIRES's Ken Forrest got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vern Chapman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from D.J. Webster in the 64th minute of the match. Webster came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the You´ve Goat To Be Kidding fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that D.J. Webster couldn't finish the play. The You´ve Goat To Be Kidding fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when You´ve Goat To Be Kidding's D.J. Webster looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alonzo Duncan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. If Ken Forrest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. You´ve Goat To Be Kidding had won after a very even match.
