Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julio Newsome took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sydney Forbes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Darin Vernon came free, but Johnathon Guillory reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Vernon Browne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nakedanglos United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fénix the free kick. After 12 played minutes Nakedanglos United got a freekick which was hit by Vernon Browne. Fénix's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julio Newsome in the 14th minute. Julio Newsome made a great header on Fénix's corner, it was just that Nakedanglos United's Cody Trimble managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Nakedanglos United's zone, J.P. Haley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cody Trimble came out of the goal and J.P. Haley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Newsome hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Cody Trimble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Newsome in the 21st minute of play. Johnathon Guillory didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darin Vernon went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes in the game, Julio Newsome dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Julio Newsome struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Cody Trimble didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fénix. Julio Newsome's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Cody Trimble skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nakedanglos United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julio Newsome was slow to take the kick. During this time Fénix's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Julio Newsome got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cody Trimble quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Newsomes short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Cody Trimble to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Nakedanglos United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Darin Vernon made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chase MacKenzie during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chase MacKenzie to maneuver through the defense. Vernon Browne made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fénix's Cliff Pepper. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Newsome in the 62nd minute of play forced Nakedanglos United's goalkeeper Cody Trimble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nakedanglos United getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ramiro Weber hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes Nakedanglos United got a freekick which was hit by Vernon Browne. Fénix's Chase MacKenzie got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Chase MacKenzie off the ground. Chase MacKenzie hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Julio Newsome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cody Trimble having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Tyrese Kinsey reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Johnathon Guillory. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 84th minute J.P. Haley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Trimble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adrian Bustamante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nakedanglos United's zone, Julio Newsome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cody Trimble came out of the goal and Julio Newsome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nakedanglos United's Cody Trimble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Newsome in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nakedanglos United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
