The audience thought a goal was coming when Brady Clifford got free with Richie Timmons in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Trinidad Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Romanguaça FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Monte Cotton hit a great ball. Richie Timmons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trinidad Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Theo Flint made the kick off in the second half. Richie Timmons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brady Clifford in the 60th minute of the match. Al Ames made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Steve Ragsdale sent off a good shot on target. When Theo Flint fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romanguaça FC's protests and gave Theo Flint a yellow card for diving instead. Theo Flint kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Romeo Gentry hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Lincoln Velazquez fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
