Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julio Newsome started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blake Buck in the 13th minute of play forced Fénix's goalkeeper Johnathon Guillory to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fénix's Gregg Stewart shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Josh Morrison but with some difficulty. A collision led to Fénix getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Chase MacKenzie hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Filiberto Juarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnathon Guillory saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fénix's Johnathon Guillory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. Webster in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Julio Newsome got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute D.J. Webster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnathon Guillory saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Quentin Velasco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnathon Guillory skillfully saved the ball. After 39 played minutes You´ve Goat To Be Kidding got a freekick which was hit by Rodger Beckman. If Julio Newsome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fénix's Johnathon Guillory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. Webster in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Juarez made a kick off. Johnathon Guillory made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when D.J. Webster sent off a good shot on target. Julio Newsome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josh Morrison having to interfere. Julio Newsome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Josh Morrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 played minutes, Fénix's Chase MacKenzie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Josh Morrison came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fénix reached it. Alonzo Duncan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. You´ve Goat To Be Kidding's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Johnathon Guillory made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Juarez in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to You´ve Goat To Be Kidding getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rodger Beckman hit a great ball. Josh Morrison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Newsome's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute, Quentin Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Julio Newsome made a precise shot to the right of Josh Morrison. You´ve Goat To Be Kidding's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Johnathon Guillory was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Blake Buck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 80 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in You´ve Goat To Be Kidding's zone, Julio Newsome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josh Morrison came out of the goal and Julio Newsome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. J.P. Haley charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed J.P. Haley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. J.P. Haley hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Fénix defense, Blake Buck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johnathon Guillory. The Fénix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johnathon Guillory should have stopped the shot. Fénix's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
