Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mundelein FC's Brady Clifford started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lincoln Velazquez kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Lincoln Velazquez was shown his second yellow card after 8 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Dallas Stars booed when Mundelein FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lincoln Velazquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lewis Brooks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dallas Stars's Ty Burkett got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moses Madden struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Rafal Bazan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mundelein FC. Brady Clifford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rafal Bazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Moses Madden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute Seth Cadena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Ames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lewis Brooks came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Dallas Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lewis Brooks couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Al Ames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ty Burkett, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Al Ames didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lewis Brooks went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Lewis Brooks came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Dallas Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lewis Brooks couldn't finish the play. Moses Madden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otto Glover hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Isidro Simons took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafal Bazan. Dallas Stars's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Isidro Simons kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Mundelein FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moses Madden to maneuver through the defense. Brady Clifford's late challenge caught a Dallas Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brady Clifford helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Mundelein FC got a freekick which was hit by Brady Clifford. After having played for 81 minutes, Seth Cadena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dallas Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seth Cadena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lewis Brooks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Al Ames read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Al Ames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ty Burkett in the 93rd minute of the match. Dallas Stars's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
