The supporters of Horus booed when Fairbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Foster didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Horus's Gabriel Gill tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Solomon Donaldson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steven Dale's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Alistair Ryder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sylvester Singleton. Horus's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Rolf Mattson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Horus's Sylvester Singleton. Sylvester Singleton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolf Mattson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Solomon Donaldson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Dale in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Horus's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Mattson came free, but Sylvester Singleton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
