Deportivo Lava Andina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Odell Thompson in the 15th minute. The corner ended in Odell Thompson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gotham City Athletic's Elvis Huston did a great save. Ace Godfrey charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ace Godfrey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gotham City Athletic's Ace Godfrey got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gotham City Athletic's Elvis Huston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enoch Vaughn in the 21st minute of play. Elvis Huston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justin Caudill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enoch Vaughn in the 26th minute of play forced Gotham City Athletic's goalkeeper Elvis Huston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Gotham City Athletic's goalkeeper Elvis Huston had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lee Winkler. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Arturo Barber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gotham City Athletic's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Barber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Owen Maddox breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 played minutes Gotham City Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Dustin Fowler. Enoch Vaughn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allan Samuels stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Lava Andina's Enoch Vaughn got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elvis Huston came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Lava Andina's Enoch Vaughn. But to his dismay, Enoch Vaughn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. During the 74th minute of the match Ace Godfrey completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ace Godfrey a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ace Godfrey kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Elvis Huston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Winkler, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Enoch Vaughn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maxwell Powell hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Lee Winkler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Elvis Huston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Lava Andina's Justin Caudill suffered a sore thigh after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 88 minutes, Allan Samuels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gotham City Athletic and the Deportivo Lava Andina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gotham City Athletic's Allan Samuels got a free kick in the 89th minute. Lee Winkler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Enoch Vaughn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Lava Andina's supporters rose to their feet, but Enoch Vaughn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvis Huston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Lava Andina were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
